First time visiting us? Here's some helpful information about us:
When does church start?
Sunday school begins at 9:00 a.m. followed by the worship service at 10:30
What do I wear?
We're a pretty eclectic group, you'll find everything from a three piece suit to shorts and t-shirts.
What happens on Sunday?
We open the service with a worship song, followed by announcements. Then we have a biblically-focused teaching time that lasts about 40 minutes. After the teaching, we worship in song. We sing an eclectic group of worship songs, some new and some old, hymns and contemporary, hoping that each person present finds songs included that are personally, theologically and musically significant to them. We celebrate the Lord's Supper each first Sunday of the month usually followed by a potluck.
Yes, we have a nursery for infants through age 3.
Sunday school is from 9:00 - 10:10, before the worship service. It runs through the school year, generally starting the weekend after Labor Day and ending the week before Memorial Day. There’s something for everyone!
A variety of teachers rotate teaching responsibilities covering numerous topics in these sessions. Check for current topics at the Church Welcome Center.
Primary grades meet in segregated groups throughout the Sunday school sessions. Groups include: 2–3 year olds, Pre K and K, 1st–2nd grades, 3rd–4th grades, and 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Primary grades use the Abeka curriculum.
