First time visiting us? Everyone wants to know these things:
When does church start?
We have two services, at 8:15am and 11am. Come early and grab a cup of coffee and a donut.
What do I wear?
We're pretty casual, so casual and comfortable works for us.
What happens on Sunday?
We usually sing a song at the beginning, followed by announcements. Then we have a biblically-focused teaching time that lasts about 40 minutes. After that, we usually have a time of worship. We sing an eclectic group of worship songs, some new and some old, hymns and contemporary, hoping that each person present finds songs included that are personally, theologically and musically significant to them. We celebrate the Lord's Supper each first Sunday of the month.
Yes, we have a nursery downstairs for infants through age 4.
Sunday school is from 9:45–10:45, between worship services. It runs through the school year, generally starting the weekend after Memorial Day and ending the week before Labor Day. There’s something for everyone!
A variety of teachers rotate teaching responsibilities covering numerous topics in these sessions. Check for current topics at the Church Welcome Center.
Primary grades meet in segregated groups throughout the Sunday school sessions. Groups include: 2–3 year olds, Pre K and K, 1st–2nd grades, 3rd–4th grades, and 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Primary grades use the Abeka curriculum.
